Following years of musical evolution, Affection demonstrates Magasco’s ability to balance heartfelt storytelling with infectious Afrobeat rhythms and contemporary African production. Rather than focusing solely on romance, the album examines the emotions that shape everyday life—trust, regret, hope, commitment, and the pursuit of genuine human connection.

The project features standout songs including Yes I Do, Future, Regret, OMG, Give, Let You Down, Hide & Seek, and Better for Me, with guest appearances from Stanley Enow and MIMIE. It also includes remix versions of Give and Regret, bringing together a diverse group of artists and celebrating the collaborative spirit that has become one of Magasco’s trademarks.

Recognized among notable African releases of its year, Affection received international recognition with a nomination for Album of the Year at the African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA) 2022, further highlighting the project’s impact beyond Cameroon.
